About Us
Hey Y'all! Welcome to Beeswax Bandanas — where faith, animals, and handmade tradition come together on a little slice of North Georgia we call Dogwood Farm.
What began as a creative side project has turned into something truly special. The inspiration came from our golden retriever, Hank, and our trio of pugs. Hank has since passed, but his spirit is stitched into everything we do. The pugs are still with us, keeping things lively and loud.
These days, our family has grown into what we lovingly call the Tudor Zoo. We’re raising Nigerian Dwarf goats, ducks, and a vibrant flock of chickens — Easter Eggers, silkies, frizzles, and satins. Puddin, our loyal livestock guardian dog, watches over the herd while our Aussie keeps everyone on their toes. Our cats are spoiled indoor royalty — lounging in sunbeams and supervising my every move.
Dogwood Farm got its name from the countless Dogwood trees that fill our property — and from the beautiful legend of the Dogwood tree, which points to the sacrifice of Christ. In everything we do — from gathering eggs to sewing bandanas — we aim to honor Jesus. This property was once home to my mom and her husband. She loved animals too, and I like to think her gentle spirit still lingers in every corner of this farm.
A Life We’re Building Together
While Beeswax Bandanas is my personal business and creative passion, Dogwood Farm is something my husband and I have built side by side. We both work full-time in fields we care deeply about — he in insurance, and I in the security industry — and we’re fully committed to our professional lives. I’ve always had a heart for people and take great joy in lifting others up, whether through my work or through this small business built on purpose and love.
Dogwood Farm is where we unwind, dig in, and do life together. Whether we’re tending to the goats, gathering eggs, planting something new, or just walking the fence line with the dogs, it’s a place that keeps us grounded. Every part of this farm reflects our values — faith, stewardship, hard work, and love — and every decision we make here is shaped by them.
About the Bandanas
Every Beeswax Bandana is made by hand, often from thrifted or upcycled fabrics I’ve hunted down one by one. I love the challenge of finding forgotten shirts or vintage cotton and transforming them into something fresh and useful. Most designs are created in small batches — especially our Upcycled, Ltd. collection, which changes constantly as I find new treasures.
When I’m not at the sewing machine, you’ll likely find me thrifting for inspired fabrics, gathering eggs, raising chicks, or loving on every member of our furry and feathered family.
Giving Back
We’re proud to support animal rescue organizations that are doing meaningful work, including Furkids.org, The Pug Queen Foundation, and Charles Smithgall Humane Society. Giving back has always been a part of this business, and we’re honored to contribute to these missions through every sale.
